Tony Angell (’62) art on display at Seattle gallery
This month the Foster White Gallery will be featuring artwork by UW alum Tony Angell (BA, 1962). From Oct. 4-27, Angell’s drawings, colored lithographs, and sculptures will be displayed in the gallery’s upcoming exhibition. Angell came to the UW on a track scholarship in 1959 and received undergraduate and graduate degrees in speech communication. Although he was never formally trained as an artist, Angell has succeeded in the art industry and has also illustrated and co-authored many articles and books. The gallery will also be holding a book signing on Oct. 20 from 2-4 p.m.
