Domke begins SAL series on 2016 election
Thursday, January 10, 2013, Professor and Chair David Domke begins his five-part Seattle Arts and Lectures series, “Winning the White House in 2016: Five Rules for the Road.”
Barack Obama is the third consecutive U.S. president to win a second term, the first time this has occurred since the early 1800s. What do the sequence of back-to-back victories from Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama tell us about how candidates win the White House? This lecture series will focus on important patterns and apply them to prospective 2016 candidates.
This series runs through May, taking place in Kane Hall, room 130, on the UW Seattle campus.
