Lisa Coutu will be the final presenter in the Communication Department’s 2013-14 Inaugural Lecture Series. In this series, recently promoted full professors and principal lecturers in the Department of Communication offer reflective, autobiographical lectures on the questions and ideas that motivate their scholarship, and the people and ideas that have inspired them. The department sponsors these lectures to honor faculty who have crossed the threshold of promotion to the highest rank in their appointment lines.

Coutu’s lecture is titled, “An auto-ethnography of an academic life” and will take place on Wednesday, February 12 at 3:30 p.m. in CMU 120. A reception celebrating Coutu’s scholarship will follow in room CMU 126 around 4:30 p.m. RSVP here.
