Valerie Manusov, Professor, currently has two primary projects: exploring the public and private meanings given to nonverbal communication and serving as local host for the Western States Communication Association. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Communication Inquiry, Interpersonal Communication, Relational Communication, Nonverbal Communication, Intercultural Communication, Observational Research, and Quantitative Research Methods. Autumn quarter, Dr. Manusov is working in the College of Arts & Sciences as a Leadership Fellow. She is also vice-Chair of NCA's Nonverbal Communication Division.
