Media Support
The demand for computers, data projection, and media playback in the classroom
has become nearly universal. The majority of rooms used by Communication instructors
come equipped with instructional technology, but a few do not. The IRC can help

the following services:
| · |
tutorials on how to use equipped rooms |
| · |
pointers on the best ways to schedule equipment if your classroom lacks necessary
technology |
| · |
laptop, data projector, and playback unit checkouts |
| · |
scheduling coordination with Classroom
Support Services |
| · |
training on equipment setup and use |
| · |
emergency assistance |
The department maintains a unique set of equipment in Communications 104.
