Services
The 2005-06 academic year saw the expansion of video resources available at
the IRC. While we anticipate continued growth in this area, we currently offer
a range of services to the department:
| · |
digitization of VHS and DVD footage |
| · |
in-class or event videography (miniDV, DVD, or VHS) |
| · |
digital editing (Avid Xpress Pro, Adobe Premiere) |
| · |
video streaming |
Policies
| · |
The IRC subscribes to the Fair
Use Guidelines prescribed by the university. We assume that the requesting
instructor, staff person, or student has read and understands this information. |
| · |
Three days notice should be given for editing and digitization projects consisting
of less than 2 hours of footage OR less than five edits. |
| · |
An additional day’s notice should be given for every extra hour of footage
and every increment of five edits. |
| · |
We make no guarantees as to the quality of files captured from multi-generational
media. |

Seattle, Washington
This footage is from "Camera 01" and the sound input is from Professor
Philipsen's lapel mic. As such, Professor Bill Eadie's questions are sometimes
difficult to hear.
We will post additional resources related to this project as they become available.
