Earlier this month, Professor Crispin Thurlow attended a conference on "Language in the Media" at Leeds University, England. One of the keynote speakers at the conference was Professor Deborah Cameron, Chair of Language and Communication at Oxford University. In 2003, Professor Cameron was a guest of the department when she came to give a Walker-Ames lecture. The picture here was taken during the official conference dinner at Leeds.
