Career_Exploration
Career Exploration presents students with the opportunity to go out into the world and meet with leading communication professionals in TV production, journalism, public relations, the nonprofit sector and more. This is a unique chance for them to expand their networks in Los Angeles, New York City, and even right here in Seattle. Every year the Department of Communication takes a select group of students to L.A., NYC, and to locations in Seattle to tour facilities and meet with a dynamic array of industry professionals.

The Department of Communication brought eight eager students to New York City to explore different career paths and expand their networks. They met with leading Communication professionals at Facebook, VICE News, Marie Claire, Deutsch advertising agency, and more. Many of the mentors are Communication alumni – we could not have made the trip as engaging, informative, and life-changing without you.
