Save the Date! Wear Purple, Give Gold auction April 4
The Wear Purple, Give Gold auction will take place on April 4, 2013, in the newly renovated HUB. Join fellow Communication alums, faculty, and friends for an evening filled with fun and fundraising. Every dollar of this memorable event goes directly to support students. Details to come!
Career Kickstart
On Oct. 18 we kicked off Career Kickstart — a series of professional development events for students, sponsored by Alumni Board members. Communication alum Whitney Curry talked with students about using social media in the workplace and as a tool to land a job.
On Nov. 15, representatives from Microsoft, Redfin, KOMO, and other companies share how internships helped them, and what opportunities exist for students. Take a look at the entire series.
