IN MEMORIAM

Born in 1937, Jean Reichenbach graduated from the UW in 1958 with a degree in Psychology and again in 1981 with a degree in Journalism. She served as an associate editor of Columns for 10 years (1983-1993) and at the end of her tenure wrote a moving account of her 17-year survival after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She died on May 10 at the age of 72.
