Through its independent studies program, the labs facilitate projects of individual students and of student research teams.
The program strives to help students create high-quality works that can be featured, for example, on resumes, in portfolios, and
within graduate or law school applications. Student projects reflect their creativity, diligence, and sophistication. For example,
among other works, they have
- partnered with researchers and developers at some of the world’s leading technology corporations
- produced graphics for national publications
- authored web pages for high-profile nonprofit organizations
- shot and edited video for governmental agencies
- recorded music CDs in association with nationally renown artists and studios
- created nonprofit foundations
- presented papers at national and international academic conferences.
